  • Architect and founding director for Northeastern’s Educational Technology Center.
  • Co-chair of Northeastern’s eportfolio Task Force, a group that is charged with overseeing the implementation of Northeastern’s university-wide eportfolio system.

  • Campus Technology Conference Advisory Board member, 2011, 2012.
  • Campus Technology Innovators Review board member, 2012.
  • Chair of leadership track for Seminars on Academic Computing (SAC) planning committee, 2006.
  • Conceived and launched NU’s annual “Teaching with Technology Day” and “Tech Trends for Teaching” day.
  • Member of the Planning Committee, Association of American Colleges & Universities for Teaching, Learning & Intellectual Development fall conference,
  • Cambridge MA.Guided the development of the Provost’s Teaching with Technology Fund grants and NU’s Teaching and Learning with Technology
  • Roundtable.Oversaw the implementation of Blackboard CMS pilot, which led to its adoption resulting in a significant expansion of traing for faculty.
  • Served as co-founder of the NU Tech Expo/Research Software Showcase. For three years co-chaired the annual showcase of faculty, staff and student interactive and research posters.
  • Wrote proposal to win New Media Center status for EdTech Center.
  • Conceived of and won grant to create NU’s Multimedia Development Studio.

Curriculum Development

  • Have overseen the development of the EdTech Center’s extensive workshops, online tutorials, and Brown Bag programs since 1997.
  • Design and Teach courses in Northeastern’s Graduate School of Education.

Blended/hybrid Learning

  • Broad-based experience with creating scaleable, sustainable hybrid programs, including how to begin a hybrid program at the course and program levels; how to develop hybrid policies at the course, program and institutional levels; and how to train faculty and students for success.
